Grand Machinery provides high-performance softgel encapsulation machines for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, and health product manufacturing. Choose the right softgel machine for your production capacity, capsule size, and formulation requirements.
Explore our range of softgel encapsulation machines designed for different production capacities and manufacturing requirements. Each machine is engineered for accurate dosing, consistent encapsulation, and stable continuous production.
Every Grand Machinery softgel encapsulation machine is built on three principles: dosing accuracy, hygienic design and operator-friendly automation. Here is what that means on your production floor.
Servo-controlled injection pump delivers fill weight accuracy within ±1%, minimizing gelatin and API waste. Optimized wedge design ensures complete seam sealing — fewer leaks, less rejection.
Full 304/316L stainless steel contact parts, food-grade seals, and tool-free disassembly for fast changeover and CIP-friendly cleaning. Designed to support cGMP documentation and third-party audit requirements.
PLC + HMI touchscreen with recipe storage: one-touch parameter recall between products. Real-time monitoring of fill weight, ribbon temperature and gelatin viscosity; optional rejected-capsule auto sorting.
A softgel encapsulation machine forms, fills and seals a soft gelatin capsule in a single continuous process. Understanding each stage helps buyers evaluate machine quality where it matters most.
Gelatin, plasticizer (glycerin or sorbitol), water and colorants are melted and vacuum-deaerated into a uniform gelatin mass.
The mass is spread by a spreader box onto cooling drums, forming two thin, consistent gelatin ribbons.
The servo-driven injection pump meters fill material (oil or suspension) into the wedge.
The two ribbons converge between rotating die rolls; fill material is injected, and the dies cut, shape and seal each softgel in one motion.
Fresh softgels pass over cooling drums, then into tumble dryers and drying tunnels to reach final hardness and moisture spec.
Softgels are inspected, polished, and optionally printed with branding or dosage marks before packaging.
Grand Machinery machines utilize state-of-the-art rotary die encapsulation technology. Two gelatin ribbons prepared from warm liquid gelatin are fed simultaneously into counter-rotating die rolls. As the pockets form, precise injection plungers force the exact medicine dose between the ribbons. Heat and pressure from the die rolls seam and cut the capsules instantly, dropping them onto a cooling conveyor leading to the tumble dryer.
Our patented die roll wedge heat control ensures 98%+ leak-free seal integrity, even when handling sensitive thermal formulations.
Softgel capsules are one of the fastest-growing delivery formats in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Grand Machinery encapsulation equipment is engineered for the formulation variety these industries demand.
Fish oil, omega-3, multivitamins, CoQ10, melatonin and herbal extract softgels produced at supplement-scale output.
Precise dosage micro-encapsulation for CBD oil, hemp oil, and botanical tinctures.
OTC and Rx soft gelatin capsules requiring validated fill accuracy, cGMP-compliant contact parts and full batch documentation.
Bath oil beads, facial serum capsules, hair oil pearls, and skincare softgels.
Answers to the questions buyers ask most before investing in a softgel encapsulation machine. Need something more specific? Our engineers reply within 24 hours.
Our encapsulation machines support standard sizes from 2 (oval/oblong) to 20 (oblong), plus round and custom die shapes. Die rolls are interchangeable, and changeover typically takes under 60 minutes with our tool-free design.
The RJWJ series covers the full range: the RJWJ115 reaches 26,460 capsules per hour for pilot and mid-scale lines, the RJWJ120 delivers 370 million capsules per year with a 98%+ yield, the RJWJ200 runs up to 86,580 pcs/h, and the flagship RJWJ300 reaches 166,320 pcs/h. Final output depends on capsule size and fill viscosity — our team can calculate projected output for your exact formulation before you order.
Yes. The servo injection system handles nutraceutical oils (fish oil, vitamin E, MCT), herbal extracts and homogeneous suspensions. For suspensions, we recommend our optional recirculating feed tank to keep solids evenly distributed during filling.
Standard fill weight accuracy is ±1% at target fill, verified with our in-line check system. This directly reduces overfill waste and keeps every batch consistent for regulatory documentation.
Yes. We supply gelatin melting and mixing tanks, cooling drums, drying tunnels, tumble dryers, sorting and polishing machines, and softgel printing equipment — engineered to match the encapsulation machine’s capacity so there are no bottlenecks.
All contact parts are 304/316L stainless steel with food-grade sealing materials, and the design follows cGMP guidelines for pharmaceutical and dietary supplement manufacturing. We provide material certificates and documentation packs for your audit file.
Tell us your target daily output, softgel size and formulation. We’ll recommend the most cost-effective model — many growing brands start with the RJWJ115 or RJWJ120 and scale up to the RJWJ200 or RJWJ300 later within the same platform family.
We offer on-site installation and commissioning, operator training, and 12 months of warranty support. Wear parts (die rolls, wedges, pump plungers) are stocked and can be shipped worldwide; remote video support is available for routine maintenance.
