The GM16AE automatic counting machine, engineered by Grand Machinery, is an intelligent electronic counting solution designed for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and food production lines. It handles a wide range of products — round tablets, pills, hard capsules and softgels from Φ3 to Φ13 mm — delivering precise, bottle-after-bottle counting without frequent changeovers.
Matrix Fiber Optic Sensing for Verified Accuracy
At the heart of the GM16AE is a 16-channel matrix fiber optic detection system. Each channel monitors product flow in real time, ensuring every tablet and capsule is detected and counted individually. The result is accurate counting and bottling even at full production speed, with minimal miscounts and material waste.
Three-Level Variable Frequency Vibration Feeding
The machine adopts a three-level DC variable frequency vibration control system. This ensures uniform product arrangement and a stable, controlled drop of drug particles from the vibrating trays into the counting nozzles — a critical factor in maintaining counting precision at high throughput.
No Mold Change When Switching Products
Changing between tablets, capsules or softgels requires no mold replacement. Operators simply adjust settings and resume production, making the GM16AE especially suitable for contract manufacturers and plants running multiple product varieties.
Built for Continuous Production
With a capacity of 7,000–8,000 pieces per minute (Φ8 mm round tablets) and 80–100 bottles per minute, the GM16AE integrates easily into automatic bottling lines. It accepts bottles from Φ20–80 mm in diameter and 40–240 mm in height.
